Consumer Health Coalition to share $2.4 million grant

From the Pittsburgh Business Times:

“Consumer Health is the second-largest grantee in Pennsylvania and the group will be working with partners, including Hospital Council of Pennsylvania and Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania to provide one-on-one assistance in underserved areas of western and central Pennsylvania. The consortium will share $505,000 in federal Department of Health and Human Services funds to help people in 27 counties, which have 467,805 uninsured residents or 39 percent of the state’s total uninsured.”
