pa pursue your happiness

Pennsylvania introduced a new state slogan earlier this month: Pennsylvania. Pursue Your Happiness.

Bill McDowell, a member of our Health Committee for People with Disabilities, took this opportunity to raise awareness about issues needing positive change for people with disabilities. He wrote a Letter to the Editor that ran in the Post-Gazette.

“My pursuit of happiness is accessible, affordable services and communities where each belongs, builds and participates,” Bill writes. “Together, let us pursue this reality in Pittsburgh.”

The important topics he writes about that are essential to improving people’s happiness include housing, employment, and accessible communities. Read Bill’s full letter at the Post Gazette‘s website.

She said most consumers are only interested in knowing what their insurance deductible is and what their co-pay will be once they reach that deductible.”

Great story from 90.5 WESA.
