The Human Library is an initiative for social change utilizing the power of personal story. Persons share their story of living with behavioral health conditions, their journey to recovery, and the personal stories of family members and support networks. This project highlights the breadth of behavioral health and educates our shared community.
All events are open to the community, held at the East Liberty Branch of the Carnegie Library. The next event is on November 28th, from 5-8 pm.
On December 18th the theme of the stories will be “When the Holidays Hurt.” If you would like to share your story, please attend the next storyteller training on December 6th at 3:30 pm or contact Amanda at 412-456-1877 extension 211.
