State Budget

We organize.

Each year when the Pennsylvania budget is released by the governor, we gather to discuss, plan, and prepare. The state budget is important public policy that impacts people’s access to services they rely on.

In past years, we have met with legislators, held state budget rallies, and written Letters to the Editors to advocate for a quality state budget.

We advocate for:

• A budget that prioritizes real people with real concerns and supports the most vulnerable members of our shared community.

• Sustainable revenue sources to improve funding for human services and public education.

• An on-time budget – we cannot allow a budget stalemate and the consequences that can cause.

Pennsylvania State Budget Resources

The Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center offers great resources for assessing the impact of the proposed state budget.
